Physiotherapy

"Supporting individuals in reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring physical function through rehabilitation and therapeutic care"

Department Overview

A glimpse into what we do

The Physiotherapy Department plays an important role in medical camps by promoting mobility, physical well-being, pain management, and functional independence. Its scope includes physical assessment, posture and movement screening, pain evaluation, exercise prescription, rehabilitation guidance, and preventive care. Physiotherapists help identify musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric, geriatric, obstertrics and gynecology , sports related injuries and other mobility-related conditions affecting daily activities. This department extends beyond assessment by providing education on posture correction, ergonomics, mobility improvement, fall prevention, joint protection, and therapeutic exercises. Beneficiaries receive guidance for managing common conditions such as back pain, joint stiffness, postural issues, sports injuries, and movement limitations. The significance of physiotherapy in medical camps lies in early identification, rehabilitation, and prevention of physical impairments. Through timely intervention, patient education, and referral support when required, the department contributes to improved mobility, independence, and overall quality of life within the community
